While in Orlando, you may have plans to head on over to Universal Studios Florida or Universal's Islands of Adventure. Universal Orlando does have a FASTPASS of sorts but it works quite differently than the Disney FASTPASS.
The program is called "Universal Express." Unlike the Disney FASTPASS which is free and available to all Disney admission ticket holders, the Universal Express pass is only free for those staying at participating on-site hotels. Though, not all hope is lost as the Express pass is available for purchase.
Here are the details:
If you will be staying at one of the on-site Loew's hotels: Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Hard Rock Hotel, or Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, simply present your hotel room key card at your attraction's Express entrance. That's it. Like Disney FASTPASS, you can now bypass the regular line.
And as mentioned, the Universal Express Plus packages are available for purchase. The prices range from $19.99 to $55.99 + tax per person, per day.
