Is Disney FASTPASS Fair? What do you think?

Go to any discussion forum about Disney FASTPASS and chances are you’ll come across a (lively) conversation about the fairness of the FASTPASS system.

It couldn’t be more obvious while in the stand-by line for your favorite Disney attraction (for an hour!) that way more FASTPASS ticket holders (than you stand-by folk) are getting through.  This may have you and your family not quite feeling the magic.

But does this mean FASTPASS is unfair?  One argument is that those FASTPASS people leaving you in the dust would have been in front of you anyway if they had decided to wait it out in the stand-by line.

We here at FASTPASS Guide never get tired of reading the (we’ll call it banter; it is the most magical place on earth we’re talking about here) so please share your thoughts.  Is Disney FASTPASS fair?

The Fastpass is very fair. The one's waiting in line didn't know about fastpass or didn't understand how it work. A lot of people go to WDW without a clue. Any one can use fastpass doesnt mater if your on site or off site, in the GF ,POP or Holiday Inn.
